Klassic Transformation Barber Academy and Training Center (KTBA) is seeking qualified barber instructors to teach and train students pursuing a career in barbering.


As a barber college, our focus is education and mentorship. As a barber instructor, we’re looking for individuals committed to shaping the next generation of barbers through hands-on training, real-world experience, and high standards in education, technique, ethics, and best practices. 


Open Positions


Full-Time Barber Instructor

We are seeking an experienced, licensed barber instructor for a full-time teaching position.


Responsibilities include:

  • Instructing students in barbering techniques (cutting, fading, shaving, etc.)
  • Supervising clinic floor trainees with live clients
  • Teaching sanitation, safety, and Missouri State Board requirements
  • Preparing students for licensing exams
  • Maintaining a structured, professional classroom environment


We may be willing to train the right candidate who is a licensed barber and interested in becoming an instructor.


Part-Time Substitute Instructor

We are also seeking a part-time substitute instructor.


Responsibilities include:

  • Providing classroom and clinic floor coverage as needed
  • Supporting student instruction and supervision
  • Following established curriculum and training standards


Qualifications

  • Missouri licensed barber (instructor license preferred for full-time)
  • Strong knowledge of barbering techniques and industry standards
  • Ability to effectively teach, demonstrate, and supervise students
  • Understanding of sanitation, safety, and state regulations
  • Professional communication and reliability
